PC Dennis Thorne - 'Historical' Photographs
In October 2007 I decided to ‘air’ some photos of my father Dennis Thorne taken in 1949 by an American magazine. At the time he was the local policeman in East Meon, Hampshire. The response of this 'exposure' has been fantastic. If you arrive here as a result of these unique visual records I would really welcome an email from you, for whatever reason.

There was also a rather nice write up in the local paper the 'Petersfield Herald' on 12th October 2007
On 5th June 2008 I visited East Meon and met many who remember these times in the village and also some who were in the photos. I intend to report on this soon. Thank you to Hazel & friends for a wonderful couple of hours.
This site is undergoing an extensive re-build due to the many things happening around my retirement.
